Three in Ten Business Travelers Value Loyalty Points Over Safety, According to CWT Study

We conducted research on business traveler safety and security for Carlson Wagonlit Travel earlier this year. Some of the results were published recently. Key findings:

  • Three in ten business travelers value hotel rewards over safety
  • Travelers in the Americas are likeliest to sacrifice safety for hotel loyalty and rewards incentives (39%, followed by Europeans (34%) and travelers from Asia Pacific (28%)
  • Half of those surveyed worry about an intruder breaking into their hotel room
