In our recent study for client CWT, respondents said that the positives significantly outweigh the negatives, both at work (92%) and at home (82%), when traveling for business.
Detailed findings include the following:
- Travelers from the Americas are the most enthusiastic about the positives of business travel, followed by travelers from Asia Pacific and Europe.
- Developing trust (39%), getting to know people better (32%), and efficiencies (31%) are the top three benefits of meeting with people in person for travelers worldwide.
- The average number of times in the past 12 months that the respondents extended their business trip for leisure is 2.4.
